There is little to add at this stage to the preliminary notes on the different categories of other small finds noted in the 1999 report. These objects had all been sorted and grouped for further work in the course of the previous season, and thus the majority of this aspect of the season's work was checking details and making the documentation necessary for the final publication.

Helen Strudwick occupied much of the season with drawing objects, and this task was completed. Anthony Middleton photographed selected objects in medium-format transparencies, and thus the making of documentation for publication is now complete.

A number of discoveries were made among the finds. To the objects identified last year as being Opening of the Mouth implements can be added the hand end from a model censer. This is shown at the bottom together with a model leg of an ox and a wooden finger.
