Conclusion

The 2000 season was most successful, and yet again the results achieved met and usually exceeded initial expectations. All work on the tomb architecture and paintings is now finished. Only one area of the material remains to be fully studied--the human remains, which illness prevented from being worked on in 2000. Thus a further season will be necessary, which will permit the examination of the remaining bones and mummies, and allow some members of the Mission to check details for their final reports.

The other outstanding issue for that final season is the packing and registration of the finds. The acquisition of a finds cupboard was noted above, and it will be filled with appropriate study finds, registered as required, and placed in the magazine next season. I am highly optimistic that work in tt 99 will be complete before the end of 2001.
