A walk up to the tomb

This is the view of the hill you get when you walk round from the tourist bus park. The tomb is roughly located n the centre, but you can't see it.

We're about to go up the hill to the tomb of Rekhmire.

This picture looks down into the court of Rekhmire. TT99 is just above here--you can see a group of workmen near it.

The house on the right was knocked down in early 1997. Click on the photo to see a Quicktime VR movie of the area as it was in early 1998.

To get a good vantage point we've gone up from Rekhmire to just north of the tomb. Here we look down on it--it's in the centre.
